Updated national vote totals: Clinton now leads by 962,815. Votes for 'others' (third party) in 13 swing states: 2,218,939 docs.google.com Clinton just didn't win in enough states. Many of the states she lost are hurting economically compared to the states she won. -- As I think about it, I'd also wager that the percentage of young people joining the military from those states is disproportionately high. Not because of patriotism, but as a way to earn a living. Trump was pushing some interesting buttons when he criticized the Iraq War.
