I would suggest you to run your K6 on 83Mhz bus speed at either 250Mhz or 290Mhz (if your chip is capable to oc to) instead of running on 66Mhz bus speed.

Even K6-208Mhz on 83Mhz bus speed would give you "faster" system response feeling than K6-266 on 66Mhz bus speed.
