Asian Crises and Japan's problems are TOTALLY different. Japan's problem is a total lack of confidence in their Govt. If you look at their economic problems and their politcal problems they go are one. As I have stated before Japan's problem is the people have the money, they have just stopped spending it on anything other than bare neccessities... As I have also stated Japan is like a automobile with a full tank of gas but a clogged fuel line. They keep chugging along only slightly moving ahead... Once they solve thier poliical problems they will again be THE POWER for American to compete against. The Japanese character flaw of being so slow to change, just amplifies their problems.
