opalapril, two deaths in Riverside county in Southern Calif reported as due to meningitis. Two yr old and 13 yr old. Radio gave standard symptoms, flu like, stiff neck headache. Nothing that would make me get my kids to a doctor. One died on 25 Dec and radio just now carries the "news".

BTW bought Mike Murphys book. Interesting, have just read a few pages ithe medical area. Index shows 3 mentions of XOMA. They are all minor. Two show Xoma as a holding in Murphy funds and one shows Xoma in list of Biotech stocks.

Therefore I expect no direct impact on XOMA from the book but perhaps some indirect impact if the public is incented in any manner to buy Murphys' Mutual Funds or his stock letter.
