John, Re: a link posted to a chart that showed the relative acceptance of products from their introduction to their ultimate leveling off of penetration, and the time frame, automobiles, fax machines, color TV's, microwaves, were included I had posted it. The chart was in the Forbes 80th Anniversary issue which was entirely devoted to the silicon wealth explosion. To read the article in this issue entitled "The Silent Boom" and to see the chart, go to forbes.com and in the search box type "The Silent Boom" and you will get to the article and the chart. Everyone should read the entire 7/7/97 Forbes. Very insightful. Enjoy. Barry
