I have no idea if Elizabeth Warren is an American Indian, but I very much doubt you do either. There are a lot of people in North America that are at least a small part American Indian. Women were scarce in the settlement days and Native American woman were often "used" as brides. And many families later tried to bury that info out of shame. If your ancestry traces back to those days, you may be native American yourself and not even know it.

As for if someone who looks white, but is 1/32 Native American should claim themselves as a Native American, that is a different question...
