yet the landlord who owns the building gets to deduct the interest he pays. He also gets to depreciate the building! The horror! Accounting requires you do this. Are you saying that landlords shouldn't get to deduct expenses? If they couldn't what would be the incentive to invest in property? Maybe we should have the government own all the buildings. Have you ever been to China?
