Subj: Other oil companys

With all the other oil companys around and exploring why did they not know of this property. They could have flown over this area and got readings of something in the ground. Being where it is I hope it is oil and not a underground lake in a salt/limestone formation. >>>>>>>>

This is a question that has bothered me since the info on this company started flowing. With all the majors and all their resources and money, why would they allow little AIPC to outbid them for this supposed "choice" parcel. Additionally, if George Faris IS as good as his supports say he is and he did out manuveured the majors (it's possible) and the parcel is as valuable as everyone speculates, why wouldn't a major come in and make him an offer he couldn't/wouldn't refuse. Given the risks that lay ahead ( qdog has provided some excellent posts in this regard), and the mishaps of AIPC's last few ventures and the riches to rags very long term stockholders in the company have experienced , even someone as shrewd as GF knows that "alittle bit is better then nada". So the question remains why.....

Could it be that the majors know more about this particular parcel then anyone has speculated previously and decided to avoid it in deference to other areas?

I welcome email from any lurkers that may be reading from other threads
