<my brother later had a job logging in the northwest>

I hadn't ever really thought about it, but using helicopters in logging makes sense. Is it done a lot?

The helicopter talk reminded me of a story that ends up poking fun at Texas. About 10 years ago the state capitol building in Austin was refurbished, and part of the process was taking down and cleaning up this huge goddess-of-liberty-type statue on top of the rotunda. When the time came to put her back on top of the building, the National Guard flew her in underneath a Chinook, but they couldn't position her because she wouldn't quit swinging around. Ultimately, the job was done with one of those spider-looking choppers that carry cargo containers...belonging to the Mississippi National Guard.
