BTW, my personal healthcare plan (which is just for myself) went from about $400 to $600 per month

Personally I don't blame these rising costs on "Obamacare"... healthcare costs have been rising astronomically since before Obamacare but the costs have been passed on to people's employers, so people with healthcare through employment don't see the rising costs

My biggest personal gripe is that for folks that are pretty healthy and are responsible to put in effort to stay healthy and only need coverage for catastrophe with a high deductible, there should be a low cost option.

I don't need a $600 per month healthcare plan, since I really don't need health services and I am almost 56 yrs old, just give me something with a very high deductible in case something happens that is very low odds, since I have been checked out by my personal physician and deemed to be "low risk"
