Yes, I agree, but the real point to Trump's infrastructure program is to imitate Putin with his "public-private" partnerships, where what will essentially happen is that well connected companies will get contracts to build various things, get tax breaks that will effectively pay for most of it, and will get to charge tolls and/or some sort of rent over time to make a profit. And it appears that the latter will be in perpetuity--they will be the owners of these things, not the country.

It is no wonder that Trump loves Putin. I'm sure he would have loved Marcos too. The RW complains about the Clintons getting rich, they will prove to be pikers compared to Trump.

That is my prediction. I will put ***** 5 asterisks to try to make this post more easily retrievable in 5 years when we have some preliminary results. Of course, we don't know much about what Trump is really worth now and I doubt if he will become less secretive over time (despite his claiming that he would release his tax returns after the audit was completed; yeah, right).
