The reason we have what we have is the written language and math and science, logic and reason.

We have been around for probably hundreds of thousands of years, living in small tribes, in caves, under the authority of th alpha male.

Women could not vote in the US less than a hundred years ago and we only figured out democracy 250 years ago!

It all started with the written language, only 3,000 years ago.
