Yes indeed, the sad irony is that the people who will be hurt most are the people that voted for Trump the most. The rural people that live in trailers and are working for minimum wage, at best, are going to be eviscerated.

I'll bet a lot of these Trump supporters are on food stamps and welfare, or public assistance and do not realize these guys they voted for have getting rid of all of that stuff at the top of their list.

They don't seem to know that the social programs they are depending on are going to be taken away from them.

We liberals have been fighting for them for 100 years and now they've mortally wounded us. So we can't he;p them much these days. They never figured out that it was FDR and the liberals that gave them Social Security and Medicare and that pulled so many people out of abject poverty and what supports them to this day.

Half the country depends on almost 100% of their income in old age on social security.

They voted for a bunch of guys, that want to get rid of Obamacare and Medicare and turn it over to the private sector where prices will be much higher and benefits much worse, and privatize Social Security in which case if we have a big depression, there goes their security down the drain.

Thomas Frank wrote the book what is wrong with Kansas, and I'm still trying to find out-lol.
