Toby, the bulk of the bonus apr. 60% is based on the company reaching a certain profit. Its set a year before. The balance is factored from individual performance and division goals. Every employee knows exactly what the bonus parameters are for over a year.
The 1998 bonus(paid in 99) can be changed but not the 1997.
It gets expensed over the 4 qtrs.
