It is about the data and the models. And they are a mess. And they have added so much noise to these datasets -- essentially all of the, to the point they are useless. The last 20 years has seen some of most convoluted manipulations I have ever heard of. NASA has a role to play perhaps in acquiring satellite data but it should be provided in unadulterated form to the scientific community.
