Yes, it and the NYT really were exposed this election season as being just low quality propaganda rags. I used to love to watch CNN, because I thought their coverage of 9/11, the aftermath, and the wars was stellar. I used to read the NYT frequently, because they had good quality articles, including good authors like Friedman. But they have been so shameful over the past year. They act like a bunch of spoiled children that didn't get their way, even as they squandered a century of integrity to try to influence an election. What a disaster for both of those media outlets. Both should be very introspective and decide whether they want to try to shoot for true un-biased journalism again. Not likely, but we can hope.
