Not fair how you're trying to scoop svb for the contest, ahem -g- ... had the very same thought as LC on seeing that ... that rule in contests, that each ticker can be held by only one participant, is very restrictive and does not in any way reflect real trading ... it just makes it less work for the person keeping track, which is important ... some techie could set up a programme for contests that would, say, let each entrant hold up to three picks at any given time, and trade them ... using real-time quotes, and deducting appropriate commission for each trade as well ... say, everybody gets ten grand at the start, and up to a dozen trades, with all accounting automatic, using some broker's real-time quotes ... it would be good advertising for that house, if they did it right
