What about FOX News? I haven't seen it in years. As I recall, they started out declaring themselves to be an alternative to the 'Main Stream Media' which had stopped reporting in a fair and balanced manner. Now I think they are the right wing alternative to the left lock on MSM. They admit to having a right wing slant in answer to the problem seen with the rest of the MSM. They are not main stream because people who consider themselves main stream viewers do not consider them part of the MSM.

Unlike Fox who admits their role, the MSM avoids admitting their role in politics but most people and nearly all conservatives are aware of it.

The complaint is that the MSM bolsters mistaken beliefs and false narratives, minimizes important events (when they don't fortify the left), and incites rage over things to hate about the right wing (even when there is no real basis for those things).

I wouldn't like to see the MSM lose so much money that they decide to become biased against liberals. We've had that before (40's and 50's) and it was just as bad as a bias against conservatives. Personally I'd like to see all of the biased news media go bankrupt together, or go back to just reporting things in a straight forward manner. In the mean time people able to think for themselves will be fine, as always.
