Ohio State Terrorist Was Enrolled in Microaggression Class

Part of the point of the class was to "demonstrate an appreciation for other points of view and cultures."

Ohio State University student Abdul Artan, who rammed a car into a crowd in an act of vehicular jihad and then went after bystanders with a butcher knife before being shot dead by a police officer, was enrolled in a course which ironically promoted social justice and studied microaggressions.

The purpose of the class "Crossing Identity Boundaries," according to Reason.com, is to promote "intercultural leadership" and transform students into "actively engaged, socially just global citizen/leaders."

Artan, a Pakistani immigrant who went way beyond being "actively engaged" by becoming radicalized over "injustices" committed against fellow Muslims, reportedly had a group project on "microaggressions" due later this week. The assignment, worth 15 percent of his grade, required students to find a dozen examples of microaggressions on social media and explain which identity groups were the victims, according to the syllabus. The point was to make students "recognize the role of social diversity" and "demonstrate an appreciation for other points of view and cultures."

If his macroaggressive act of jihad is any indication, Artan showed a marked lack of that "appreciation for other points of view and cultures." TruthRevolt gives him a failing grade.
