I thought we were having a philosophical discussion. My approach is always to challenge conventional wisdom, that is what philosophers do. The don't tend to shy away from pre-existing thought. It's called living philosophy when you challenge conventional wisdom and it is what those people you lionize have always done. By the way, they have been around long enough to be considered the embodiment of conventional wisdom... ironic ehh? Since you endorse open mindedness and life long learning growh, I recommend you consider moving on. None the less, here we go. It was important to correct it because you are under the misperception that the Bible forbids the study of creation, it does not, it encourages it. I agree the Churches have managed to screw that up really bad. I did not think I was part of a religious discussion but if that is what you are seeking, find someone who cares.
