Yes, a K6 design and .35um process interaction most likely caused the
233Mhz yield problems ... solved by "jacking up" the operating voltage.
This same design has now been "ported" into the .25um process that will
interact differently with the new process and will most likely cause new
speed paths to be a problem. This could very well be why AMD is late
getting the .25um K6 out in any volume ... AMD is trying to solve these
new yield problems!!!
