It won't be a wholesale revocation of SS, but an erosion of the benefits...

For instance, Medicare will be transformed into a voucher program and the vouchers will not cover the high cost of insurance they'll have to buy... Medicaid will become more and more difficult to get, swelling the ranks of the uninsured. Healthcare subsidies will be phased out and the cost of insurance for the underemployed and unemployed will be unaffordable, and again the ranks of the uninsured will swell again. They'll get rid of the ability of the uninsured to get care through emergency rooms... People will just die. This is what the GOP wants... They don't even need death panels to decide, purely market forces will decide. The invisible hand of the market will be a fist to pound out the poor.
