We really like American Experience on PBS. Whatever the subject, they make it interesting.
As you may recall, one of my book characters was a Korean War Vet, and I found the episode on
the Korean War Battle of Chosin, particularly well done
pbs.org

Three older cousins were drafted and served in Korea. They all talked about how cold it was there. One of them advised me to take typing in high school (even though it was not a cool thing for a guy to do at that time). His reasoning: typists usually got office instead of combat jobs. Turned out to be good advice.
