The latest issue of "PC World" has an article titled "Intel Aside". Havent read the entire article yet as I skimmed over it but they state that "half of the Budget PCS(Under $1500.00)are composed of Cyrix and AMD". Not sure if by half they mean the ones they evaluate or half on the market. They state and I have read elsewhere then unless you are a serious gamer or into Photo ops then you dont really need Intel.
