Hi, Tom--

That post seems such a long time ago, that I had almost forgotten that I posted it. Since then, Sam has had a couple of versions of WOW and I have updated through two recent editions of MS. I still have tc2k, but haven't used it for months. I use q+ exclusively as my data source now, run all my initial scans in it, and transfer the filtered results to ms. My daily updates from q+ automatically update my lists of files residing in ms. Datacon does not work to transfer data from q+ to tc2k.

I still believe that all beginners can benefit tremendously from starting out with tc2k. It has a number of features that are still not available in q+, that are excellent for the beginner. However, when you are ready to move on to a db bigger than 100-200 stocks, q+ is the way to go, and version 2 has made a great product even better.

BTW,when you are looking at the q+ section of the "best-of-the-best at Andy's web site, you will find several posts on the comparison of tc2k vs q+.

Good trading,

doug
