Hillary Clinton throws a party for millionaire donors, Kaine will throw his own celebration on the same day.
Clinton raised millions throughout her campaign thanks to Hollywood celebrities who were determined to keep Trump out of office.The failure to prevent a Trump victory has shocked the Democratic party and extravagantly generous millionaire donors as well. Celebration is said to be held at the Grand Ballroom in the Plaza Hotel in New York in mid-December to honor the financial team that worked for Hillary for America.Some of the expected guest Harvey Weinstein, Anna Wintour, Alan Patricof, Tory Burch and Marc Lasry.Harvey Weinstein, producer, said in a comment sent to ScreenDaily: “With both Donald and Hillary [Clinton] splitting the popular vote of Americans 50/50, I was proud to see Hillary say this morning that she would work with Donald because that’s what our country wants to see. One of the great things President Obama did was taking a page from Lincoln’s playbook — taking on rivals and working together with them in the White House. It takes a willingness from both sides, however, and our country is sick and tired of the divisiveness in D.C. It is my hope that President-Elect Trump will do this with Hillary and others. It will make people less fearful, which I’m sure he wants, and it’s what we need as a country.”There is some speculation that Kaine may be trying to keep the donor base alive for a presidential run.
