Luis,

Interesting comments. I am curious as to which methods of technical analysis you employ as you watch and trade in your non-low volume, higher priced stocks. As we see in this discussion each trader tends to have his own individualized approach and I am always looking for methods that have been successfully used by others to add to my bag of tools.

While TA is not as strong in predicting the movement of smaller stocks because of the absence of several constants not yet fully developed, the trading patterns do become apparent within a very short time. These patterns may not yet have the components needed in the analysis of larger stocks but the patterns are none the less present. So, a momentum trader has to be more inventive in choosing his methods.

As you and Joe have pointed out, OZON will need to develop the basis of solid fundamentals before most of the normal analysis will apply. It is then that the trading patterns will reflect more consistency resulting from the entrance of more market makers, the attraction of fund managers, and generally a more actively traded stock.

Marlin
