It really depends on whether you believe GW Bush saying the word "Internets" is fake news. Personally, I think it is.

As to GOP scientists, if you are talking about "researchers" and "professors" who are parasites sucking on government tits, yes, most are Democrats. Most Republicans do not want to be parasites. Most Democrats just don't want the tits to dry up.
