It's certain they changed the data (see figure below). Maybe President Trump will FOIA the e-mails? Wikileaks? The best path forward is to transition to satellite data. Internet has done a great job educating on this scam. Thermometers serve a purpose for weather models and climate records. It needs to be exposed how much data manipulation goes on.
