Vestas Books U.S. Order For 101 MW Of Wind Posted by Betsy Lillian on December 08, 2016 Vestas has received a firm and unconditional wind turbine order totaling 101 MW for an undisclosed U.S. customer. The contract includes V126-3.45 MW and V117-3.45 MW turbines with a power optimized mode to 3.6 MW. Vestas says the order adds to its 3 MW platform’s growing presence in the U.S.The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a five-year Active Output Management 5000 service agreement: Vestas’ full-scope service package to maximize uptime and energy production. Vestas expects turbine delivery to take place next year. The customer and project names have not been disclosed at the customer’s request. nawindpower.com
