Dennis--- I have been waiting since lasr Mar for SOME THING to drag the mkt down BIG. I still think there is a possibility (strong) of that happening. That is why I am only 70% - 80% fully margined. Had I been in cash last years gains would have been at least cut by half. If things go to hell--- there is always the short side. I will be happy to pay what the bank pays you plus a % or 2... has to be cheaper than my margin rate <ggg>. If cash gets you 6% (yeah, right) and inflation goes the 2.2% they are talking about you get 3.8%,,, sorry but I will gamble on the mkt and my actions/reactions first. The only way to make cash (IMO) pay is to pay off all non-deductable credit. Other than that it does not work so I would have to,,, sorry- I do NOT want to work <ggg>. Lord knows I do not know what I am talking about,,, just a gambling trader --- and enjoying every second.

John
