Canada also has a reciprocal Medicare rights treaty with Australia and the EU. There's a financial settlement process as part of this agreement if the usage becomes too imbalanced. Europeans and Australians can receive medical care in Canada and Canadians can receive medical care in Australia or Europe all without authorization. Europeans, Australians and Canadians can retire or live where they want within that huge network of medical coverage. Wouldn't you just hate to have that much freedom? Any Russian will tell you that level of freedom is antisocial. Americans and Russians both like wearing their slave collars nice and snug.
