Hi Mark,

Do you have any idea what type of products? When I talked to him, he said that if they had a choice they wouldn't choose something related to fitness.

I've often wondered how long people use them those machines and what the stats are for usage after a certain period of time -- before they become fancy clothes hangers :-).

Do you happen to know whether Bowflex sells any of their equipment to health clubs and if so -- how much (% or $)?

Incidentally, if you haven't read it in the Globe and Mail (B19, January 3, 1998), Bowflex was rated as a "Star" in their "Stars and Dogs" column -- nothing new but...:

"We think fitness clubs came up with the idea of making New Year's resolutions. Makes sense doesn't it? And shares of this fitness equipment maker hit a 52-week high New Year's Eve. Coincidence? Chances are someone at this company is hoping you made lots of fitness-oriented resolutions this year."

Cheers to that,

Clement
