Thanks for interesting re-post. I would have to go with George Gilder on this and say the biggest winner will be wireless infrastructure. Gilder has pointed out the advantages of wireless at low penetration rates, the tremendous cost savings over trenching cables and the wireless megatrend that has given us untethered radio, TV and now telephone and finally, to use an oxymoron, wireless cable. Wireless internet is next. I suppose that the LEO satellite boom will bring a substantial drop in the cost of bandwidth in LDCs and bring the ROW online.
