WAVE WI$E is a different kind of spread sheet. It contains dozens and dozens of built-in functions and indicators, including most of the usual suspects, and also some trading functions. These enable you to test mechanical systems. The graphics/charting capability has its shortcomings (e.g, it only plots daily graphs).

As for the Gann Projections, you simply click on 3 points (2 tops and an intervening bottom, or 2 bottoms and a top) with your mouse and the projection is built. I am primarily a trend-follower and no longer try to catch tops and bottoms. I only mention the Gann Projection method and WAVE WI$E because there seems to be interest on the thread.
