Let's analyze Russia vs Europe from the point of view of the deplorables, i.e., the christian working class peoples of the US.

Russia used to be our communist enemy but is now a christian nationalist state. The European states are socialist countries that have done absolutely nothing but complain about the christian part of the US and Trump. At worst they are now our socialist enemy; at best they are moochers who rely on our military expenses. And then there's Turkey. That's the military situation. The economic situation is that the EU was formed in order to improve the European economies at the expense of the US. So there's little reason for the deplorables to support the Europeans over Russia. What's more, US manufacturing competes directly with Europe, not Russia.

Meanwhile, the Europeans are scared of Russia despite the fact that the Russian economy is smaller than the economy of Italy. Either they are cowards or lazy. Either way they're stupidly inviting in so many moslems that their societies are collapsing. Trying to support them militarily is bad news. We should let them collapse.

On the other hand, from a leftist point of view, the Europeans are our socialist brothers and we should send our children to protect their cowardly snowflakes from those scary Christians to their East.

Hey, did you know that elections have consequences? The abandonment of NATO is not some sort of accident. This is exactly what the deplorables want. Why should we let the idiots in Europe drag us into a 3rd world war? If they want to defend their countries they can do it themselves.
