You dummy; the article states that it applies to protestant churches which are only about 1% of the Russian population. The church of Russia is "Russian Orthodox" and these laws are specifically intended to protect them. The phrase "christian nationalist" implies that Putin will support their domestic Russian Orthodox Christianity, not the foreign evangelical protestant varieties.

Fine. Then let the Euros make nuclear weapons. Or we could sell them some of ours. But don't make our country a nuclear victim of NATO's imperial ambitions of pushing its boundary right up to the Russian border.
