I don't go to the Dr. except as a last resort. I don't even have insurance but recently I discovered I need some dental work so I looked at what was available. Given my normal involvement with health services I concluded it is cheaper for me to go and pay the high prices when I need services than pay for insurance, then go. The deductibles are enormous and the premiums seem to assume you need to get services regularly. It isn't worth it. Fix it and I will sign up.
