Now that somebody who is partly sensible is in charge of the USA, the aggression by the USA aka John Kerry, F-bomber Nuland, Peace Prize Obama, et al in Ukraine in an attempt to get Crimea away from Russia will be canceled.

Russia will be able to show Big Don how the aggression has been counterproductive [though it doesn't take much intelligence to figure that out]. The new T-Rex Secretary of State will tell the loons to pull their horns in, apologize for making a catastrophic mess and get back to Exxon producing hydrocarbons in the Kara sea and everyone having a nice time.

You, Lindy and many others seem to have been seduced by the "Putin is Hitler" MADness and think that the carnage from Kiev was due to Russia.

If you refrain from attacking people, sometimes they find no point in attacking you. Weird stuff but it's true.

My great great grandfather died from injuries received fighting Russians in Crimea, going on 200 years ago. That was when the British Empire was trying to do what the American Empire is trying to do now. Russia has seen it all before, several times. They are not amused. The last effort in Operation Barbarossa was the most hideous carnage there has ever been. I think there have never been so many casualties - Google could say. Perhaps it's time to stop trying to take Crimea from Russia.

There's no negotiation needed. Just stop attacking. Get something more sensible to do. There's no need for negotiations over sanctions either. Just cancel the lot. Russia can cancel their reciprocal trade restrictions too if they like - which they will surely do.
