Perhaps it's time to stop trying to take Crimea from Russia.

You keep going on about Crimea. Have you ever been there? I have. More than once. Have friends in Alushta and Yalta. Russia carving up Ukraine is not all wine and roses. My ex wife is from Lugansk and her parents there are suffering from the ongoing conflict.

The scenic and historical Black Sea coast of Crimea is a prime area for development as a tourist destination. And the vast majority of potential tourists come from the West. The Russian takeover of the peninsula has put the screws to that. If a lot of the ethnic Russians in Ukraine want to rejoin mother Russia, so be it. It is what it is. But you make your bed, you lie in it..
