Koan please practice your experiments somewhere else. The US is the first system that worked best for the most people in history. If you don't like that you are free to move somewhere that provides free-lunches.

Please note your lunch isn't free if it is paid for by the forced noblesse-oblige of indentured resident tax-payer slaves. Your acceptance of the free-lunch makes you a moocher and the person providing it a looter.

Also please note cars, planes and phones does not make one civilized or even advanced. Civilized is the act of climbing down a tree, standing upright and walking on your own two flat-feet.

noblesse-oblige
The inferred responsibility of privileged people to act with generosity and nobility toward those less privileged.

Don't you understand we are light years beyond Marx for Christ's sake. We are only about 20 years away from a human singularity. No one is thinking like Marx. No one! Unless they are brain dead.

We are trying to figure out how to form welfare states (democratic socialism) that work best for everyone. We are still in an experimental stage.

How in the hell can we figure out the appropriate social systems when we still don't even know what the human species is about?

Marx, 1885, good lord this is 2013. We didn't even have cars, planes and phones in 1885.
