Your article pretty much confirms what I have argued; that is that health care fails when crammed into a capitalistic paradigm where profits drive decisions. If you have a heart attack, you do not have the luxury to look around for a good price on a doctor. If you get an infection, do you want an old antibiotic that is cheaper or do you want the more expensive antibiotic that hits the resistant bug?

Health care works great for the rich, they can pay for it. It also works great for the poor since they get care paid for by those paying taxes. ............But health care cost can ruin the working person who has managed to get ahead - but by bad luck gets sick or has an accident - then gets drained of everything he has to help pay the cost.

Trump didn't contribute to anyone's health care cost because he paid no taxes. The unemployed or drug addict didn't help pay anyone's health care because he had no extra money. You and I paid. We even helped pay for Trumps hospital bills!
