I have no problems accepting that and/or all those - even aggressively - anti Trump voices, some of what used to be my closest friends went that way, but they seem to have some problems vice versa! A pre-school and grammar school friend of mine, hell, we have known each others for 70 years now!!!, suddenly almost stopped talking to me! We never discussed politics before, since we live in different countries from where we grew up in Sweden, the few opportunities we had to meet through the years, we had more important stuff to discuss :)
Now he got chocked, that I could prefer Trump over Hillary, truly chocked and shaken to his grounds, and well, 'things ain't what they used to be' any longer! I tried ' let's be happy that none of us can/has to vote in the US', but only to no avail!
So sad :( |
