Yes, indeed you can use the DOS copy command for all CD-RW and some CDR which support and have packet writing software installed. Win98 will probably have UDF built-in which make jobs much easier for non CDR/CDRW owner.

you are right that CD-RW and Jaz and Zip are used for different purpose respectively but you are wrong on that CDR and CD-RW is less reliable than Zip and ???Jaz???.<<

First, I never said that CD-R and CD-RW were less reliable than Zip and Jaz.

Second, since many, if not most CD-R drives do not support packet writing, and for other reasons I have already outlined, I stand by my contention that they are not exactly like rewritable media.
