Hi Doug,

I'll bet the problem was that Abiword wasn't associated with DOC files during the setup.

Btw, the RTF extension is used with Wordpad.

If you re-install and do these associations, Abiword will open your documents when you double click on them. :)

Not associated with DOC or RTF ( This is the default during installation )



Associated with both DOC and RTF ( Click the boxes for the extensions you want )
