Allen, one surprise I got when I bought the CD-RW drive is that you have to format them and that takes over 90 minutes. This is one of the points where we kept getting GPFs during the format process which required us to start over again. Took the better part of a day to get the disk formated.

On a similar note regarding clicking on Zip disks. I've found that reformatting the disk gets rid of the clicking problem. This has happened to me on two out of about 100 disks that are used very heavily on a daily basis for more than a year.
