04:02 PM EST, 12/16/2016 (MT Newswires) -- TerraForm Power(TERP) fell 8% after the diversified owner of clean power generation assets provided revenue guidance for fiscal 2016 above Street estimates and for fiscal 2017 in line with forecasts.

The company said that it sees FY16 revenue of $700 million - $710 million , above the Capital IQ consensus estimate of $680.2 million. It expects to report net loss of $145 million - $105 million in FY16.

For FY17, it expects revenue to be $600 million - $700 million, versus the Street view of $659.4 million. It also expects to report net income of $50 million to net loss of $50 million in FY17.
