Nixon had some good qualities. But he was vindictive and mean spirited and held grudges. He did what he could to destroy those who made it onto his enemies list. With the power that a president has, he was dangerous.

However, the environmental regulations, he did get us out of Vietnam and he did get China to open up. He would have been regarded as one of our best presidents if he hadn't of destroyed himself.

Nixon was intelligent and informed.
