Aleppo: Think about how sick it is that Putin is willing to cause the pain and suffering of millions of people just to satisfy a need he has for power. He wants to destroy democracies around the world, for what reason?. And Trump has said Putin was better than Obama, and has a chummy relationship with this guy. I think it is hard for a lot of us to actually realize how terrible people can be, but history shows us clearly how terrible they can be. The thing I worry about most is that Trump is going to use every trick in the book to destroy this country and his supporters seem easy to fool. So when they become the victim, they will not even know what happened. It takes us back to this old saying: Niemöller is perhaps best remembered for the quotation: First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
