Rocky, what IOM wants you to focus on is the personal experience aspects of your problems and to first consider alternative possibilities, however remote. Those two key strategies don't work in a world of instant, global communications and their ploy has increasingly backfired. In fact, there's nothing personal about it; the products are pure unadulterated junk and I suspect the software is at least half of the problem. Do yourself a favor and purchase a CD-R for $299 and a dozen or so $2 CDs to store your valuable information. Recent surveys confirm your experience is about as personal as El Ni¤o.
